Caretaker’s Cottage wasn’t designed to be a public space - because, as the name might suggest, it’s a home, formerly the property of the church next door. But that didn’t stop Rob Uldis Libecans, Matt Stirling and Ryan Noreiks from turning it into one of the world’s best bars. And now, they’re bringing their laid-back, award-winning Melbourne hospitality to London, for one night only.

Joining Mr Lyan’s team at Seed Library, Shoreditch, Tom and Ryan of Caretaker’s Cottage will be showcasing a selection of five cocktails, and they’re even installing a Guinness tap for perfect, creamy pints. They’re bringing their own playlist, too, ensuring an authentically Aussie experience in the heart of East London. Listed as number 23 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2023, Caretaker’s Cottage might just be the smallest pub in Victoria - but it also happens to be one of the best in the world.
