Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you purchase tickets for London Cocktail Week via any Affiliated Ticket Partner. Please read them carefully before you buy a Ticket, as they set out important information about your and our rights and obligations. You must be at least 18 years old when you buy a ticket.

Your attention is particularly drawn to clause 10 (Responsible Drinking) and clause 17 (Our responsibility to you).

1 Definitions

“Affiliated Ticket Partner” means a third party authorised to sell Tickets to London Cocktail Week, by us, which you are directed to via our website.

“Events” means the events taking place during London Cocktail Week, which are listed on our website.

“Event Organiser” means a third party running an Event.

“London Cocktail Week” means the multi day London based cocktail festival enabling participants to purchase exclusively priced cocktails at Participating Venues.

“Participating Venues” are listed here https://londoncocktailweek.com/bars/.

“Ticket” means an e-ticket, purchased at a Participating Venue, or via an Affiliated Ticket Partner.  

“Wristband” means the wristband you receive from a Participating Venue, either by showing your Ticket, or by purchasing the wristband directly from a Participating Venue.

2 About us

2.1 We are ABV Global Limited (trading as “London Cocktail Week”) with registered address at Elixir House, Whitby Avenue, London, NW10 7SF and company number 08864393. Our VAT number is: GB364951176.

We host London Cocktail Week in partnership with Participating Venues and Event Organisers. You can purchase Tickets from Affiliated Ticket Partners, which must be exchanged for a Wristband at Participating Venues. You can also purchase a Wristband directly from a Participating Venue.

4 These terms

Any reference to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ in these terms is to ABV Global Limited and any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ is to the person buying a Ticket or Wristband.

We may make changes to these terms at any time. However, the terms which apply to your order will be those in force at the time you submitted your order to us.

4.1 Please print out or save a copy of these terms and any emails from us for your records. These terms are only available in English.

4.2 Your use of our website is governed by our Website Terms of Use which are also available on this website.

5 Orders

Please check your order carefully and correct any errors before you submit it.

5.1 Acceptance of your order, takes place when we you are sent your Ticket, to the email address you provided when you placed your order, or if you purchase a Wristband directly from a Participating Venue, when you receive the Wristband, at which point a legally binding contract is formed between you and us on these terms.

5.2 If your order is not accepted, for example if Tickets, or Wristbands, are no longer available, you are under 18 years old, or there has been a mistake regarding the pricing or description of London Cocktail Week, you will receive an email using the details you provided when you placed your order, explaining why the  order hasn’t been accepted and how to correct the order if it is possible. We have the right to reject any order, for any reason.

6 Tickets and Wristbands

If you purchase your Ticket online, via an Affiliated Ticket Partner, you will be emailed a Ticket and no physical ticket will be sent to you. You must show your Ticket at a Participating Venue in order to receive your Wristband. If you purchase a Wristband at Participating Venue, you won’t receive a Ticket, you’ll just receive a Wristband.

6.1 It is your Wristband which entitles you to access specially priced signature cocktails at Participating Venues, subject to the Participating Venues’ own terms and conditions and entry requirements.

6.2 You do not need a Ticket or Wristband to attend an Event, Events are sold separately (see clause 7.1).

Wristbands are only for your personal use, or that of your party. We reserve the right to cancel any Tickets or Wristbands if you share, resell, or attempt to share or resell Tickets or Wristbands in breach of this section.

You may not, without our prior consent, use any Ticket or Wristband in advertising, promotions, competitions, free draws or similar activities.

7 Events

London Cocktail Week is not responsible for hosting the Events, or selling tickets to an Event. Events are booked directly via the Event Organiser.

8 Availability

8.1 Tickets and Wristbands are subject to availability.

In certain circumstances beyond our reasonable control, for example where there has been a change in law, we may need to cancel London Cocktail Week. If this happens we will notify you by email, cancel your order and provide you with a refund.

8.2 The availability of Events is the responsibility of the Event Organiser.

9 Making changes to your order

If you would like to make any changes to your order after you have submitted it, please contact us using the details provided at clause 3 above, as soon as possible and we will let you know if it is possible to make a change to your order.

10 Responsible drinking

Attendees must be at least 18 years old to participate in London Cocktail Week. Please bring ID to Participating Venues and at Events and be prepared to provide this if asked. Please note that Participating Venues and Event Organisers will have their own door policies.

10.1 We promote and encourage responsible drinking by all attendees. Attendees are encouraged to eat before attending Participating Venues and Events and to drink plenty of water.

11 Photography and Filming

Please be aware the photography and filming may take place during London Cocktail Week and you may be recorded. Please let photographers know if you do not wish to be photographed or recorded.

12 Prices

Prices for London Cocktail Week are set out on our website. All prices are in pounds sterling (£)(GBP) and include VAT at the applicable rate.

12.1 Participating Venues may charge entry fees and add service charges to the London Cocktail Week exclusively priced cocktails.

12.2 A booking fee will be charged in addition to the price listed on our websites when you book Tickets online via an Affiliated Ticket Partner.

12.2 Prices for London Cocktail Week may change at any time. Except as set out in clause 12.5 below, such changes will not affect existing orders.

If there has been an error on the website regarding the pricing of London Cocktail Week and this affects your order, we will try to contact you using the contact details you provided when you placed your order. We will give you the option to re-confirm your order at the correct price or to cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled, provide you with a refund and notify you by email.

13 Payment

13.1 Payment will be taken via an Affiliated Ticket Partner, or at a Participating Venue. They will have their own payment terms, including in relation to which payment methods they accept. Please see their terms and conditions for more details.

14 Where we make changes to London Cocktail Week

14.1 Programme

We reserve the right to make alterations to the published London Cocktail Week programme on our website at any point, including during London Cocktail Week, provided that London Cocktail Week does not become materially different to when you made your order. This includes making changes to Participating Venues and Events.

14.2 Force Majeure

We will do all that we reasonably can to host London Cocktail Week on the dates advertised on our website. If we cannot do this, we will email you to let you know as soon as reasonably possible. However, we are not liable to you for any losses you incur as a result of any delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example, severe weather, accidents, pandemic or unpredictable traffic delays).

14.3 Our right to reschedule or cancel

We will do our very best to ensure that the London Cocktail Week goes ahead as planned, however, there may be circumstances in which we have reason to reschedule or cancel London Cocktail Week, other than by reason of Force Majeure and therefore, we need to retain a right to cancel London Cocktail Week (see below).

14.4 Your remedies where we make changes

Where: i) a delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control; or ii) where we have chosen to reschedule London Cocktail Week; or iii) where we have cancelled London Cocktail Week, we will work to reschedule your attendance.

14.4.1 If we are unable to offer rescheduled attendance, we will cancel your order and you will receive a full refund.

Where London Cocktail Week is cancelled or rescheduled, we will notify you using the details you provided us with at the time of ordering.

15 Your right to cancel and to receiving a refund

15.1 Tickets and Wristbands are non-refundable, save for as set out in clause 16.2. 

16 Problems with London Cocktail Week

16.1 We must run London Cocktail Week with reasonable care and skill.

16.2 If we do not run London Cocktail Week with reasonable care and skill, you can ask us if you can attend another year’s London Cocktail Week or get some money back if we are unable to offer you rescheduled attendance.

16.3 This is a summary of some of your key rights. For more detailed information on your rights visit the Citizens Advice website at www.citizensadvice.org.uk or call 0808 223 1133.

16.4 If there is a problem with a service we have provided to you, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

17 Our responsibility to you

We are not liable to you if we fail to comply with these terms because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We are not liable for any loss or damage to any personal property you bring along to London Cocktail Week.

If we breach these terms, or are negligent, we are liable to you for foreseeable loss or damage that you suffer as a result. By ‘foreseeable’ we mean that, at the time the contract was made, it was either clear that such loss or damage would occur or you and we both knew that it might reasonably occur, as a result of something we did (or failed to do).

17.1 We are not liable to you for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable, any loss or damage not caused by our breach or negligence, or any business loss or damage.

17.2 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for any death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

18 Your information

Any personal information that you provide to us will be dealt with in line with our Privacy Notice which is also available on this website and which explains what information we collect and hold about you, and how we collect, store, use and share such information.

No third party rights

No one other than us, or you, has any right to enforce any of these terms.

19 Transfer of rights

We may transfer our rights under these terms to another business without your consent, but we will notify you of the transfer and make sure that your rights are not adversely affected as a result.

19.1 You are not allowed to transfer your rights under these terms to anyone without our prior written consent.

20 Complaints

If you are unhappy with us or the services we have provided to you, please contact us using the contact details set out at the outset.

Governing law and juridiction

The laws of England apply to these terms and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
