First off, you have to find it which is no mean feat in itself, however, once you’re past the doorman and down the stairs, you can guarantee a good time in this cosy, wood-panelled basement bar just a short walk from Liverpool Street station. Drinks are tasty but also very reasonably priced and although it’s basically impossible to know what time of day it is once you’re down there – once it actually gets late, the music ramps up and we’ve all been known to dance on the tables.
