WHY WE LOVE THIS BAR...

Smith & Whistle is a great little stop off near the bustling streets of Green Park with gorgeous copper walls and bar to admire with a drink. It's super pooch-friendly here - yes they even do dogtails - and is inspired by the stories of Detective Inspector Smith, and his nemesis, the infamous socialite scoundrel, Mr. William Whistle, who seemingly both liked a strong drink and who you can thank for the standard 35ml pour in the venue. Also within the hotel at the very heart of the building is Palm Court - just one of the original features of the hotel from when it was completed in 1927. The tapestries, marble floor, stunning ceiling details all date back to this era, surrounding you with Art Deco features. The bar is completely original and takes you back in time to the prosperity of late 1920s London. Don’t miss out on the live piano sessions, from Thursday to Sunday, 1pm – 7pm.
