The original Zetter site never disappoints and the hotel’s cocktail lounge is a lavish affair that draws inspiration from a fictional great aunt Wilhelmina. It’s become somewhat of a London cocktail institution since opening in 2011, loved for it’s down the rabbit-hole experience and gorgeous yet eccentric interiors. The apothecary-style bar sits to the side, quietly serving up an array of inventive cocktails - that pay homage to the areas distilling history - and their daily afternoon tea always draws a crowd. The parties that are thrown here are legendary, but even if you’re only popping in for a drink, the velvet armchairs amongst the sea of deep red and potentially a tastefully dressed taxidermy cat – are always a welcome sight.
