First off, you have to find it which is no mean feat in itself. However, once you’re past the doorman and down the stairs, you can guarantee a good time in this cosy, wood-panelled basement bar just a short walk from Liverpool Street station. Drinks are tasty but also very reasonably priced and it’s basically impossible to know what time of day it is once you’re down there – once it actually gets late, the music ramps up and we’ve all been known to dance on the tables.
