Brought to you by multi award-winning Ryan Chetiyawardana aka Mr Lyan - who’s bars, drinks concepts and prowess in the industry have taken the capital by storm over the years. Winner of the World’s Best Bar in 2018 when it was Dandelyan, shortly before closing to be re-born as Lyaness, these walls have seen the who’s who of bartending work here at some point. The reimagined space located within the iconic Sea Containers London Hotel, overlooks the Thames and is deceivingly large inside, taking over a space on the ground floor. Featuring a striking cool blue and grey bar - which is a favourite of ours - floor to ceiling windows that offer side-line views over the river and enough soft furnishings to suit most groups (although we’d always advise booking at the weekend). Where the drinks are concerned, Mr Lyan, like usual, has been up to his old tricks - delving into ingredients you wouldn’t know existed and creating something magical from them, whilst respecting the fundamentals of the classics. Whether it’s a vegan honey made in-house or even a potato cream there’s always something that will pique your curiosity - and all the staff here are well educated in absolutely every part of every drink, which makes the whole experience even more special.
