Funky is definitely the name of the game at this laid back bar in Peckham. Owner-run and designed purely with locals in mind, the whole experience feels very tailored to the South London crowd. The shop-front exterior hides a cosy bar, which has a nice lounge feel to it – a few wooden tables, mis-match cushions and an impressive fern help complete the look. The playlist is always on funk mode and the drinks incorporate a lot of local products, including mead from Gosnells round the corner. Expect to see ingredients like cherry tomato cordial, yoghurt and citrus saffron kombucha crop up on the menu, shaken into some fun serves with affordable price tags.
