Islington’s very own tiki bar, found near Ottolenghi on Upper Street. As you’d expect the place is filled to the rafters with palms, bamboo walls and rattan lampshades, ready to transport you to a more tropical setting. The place is surprisingly quite big and there’s lots of areas to book if there’s a few of you. The cocktails are fruity and fantastic, made for you by the Hawaiian-shirt wearing team and popped in front of you with a smile – always garnished with something inventive, in true tiki style. We’re partial to a Tropicolada, whilst sat in their fur-lined swinging chair, otherwise the sharing cocktails are popular and the Oyster Pineapple Daiquiri shots never miss out on the wow factor. The food menu is Thai, so noodles and spring rolls are always there if you fancy and they hold many masterclasses and workshops that are worth checking out too.
