Slap bang next to The Dog & Duck on Frith Street is this weirdly invisible boutique hotel with a cracking little bar hidden inside. Henson’s is on street level but the old fashioned wood panelling, the low-level seating and the gold bar top make you feel a world away from the lunacy of Soho which is literally just outside the door. If you are lucky enough to get one of the blue velvet bar stools, there’s a solid cocktail list to work through, or let the bar staff mix you up a classic befitting of the surroundings.
