WHY WE LOVE THIS BAR...
Cahoots quickly became one of London’s most famous themed bars, since they opened in 2015. Set in a dis-used railway station in Soho, with queues that rival any of the big attractions, this post-war 1940’s venue even puts the entertainment in fancy dress. An underground bunker reached by a wooden escalator, complete with an old train carriage, sandbags, vintage posters, a ration food menu and nightly swing dancing to join in on. The cocktail list is extensive, but rewarding and arrives in a vessel befitting to the era. The ‘Winston Churchill’ cocktail is a heady mix of vodka, banana, coconut and caramel, served up in a mug in the shape of the man himself, and a few come in wartime-like tins with specially created labels. When you visit we’d recommend booking ahead if you don’t want to tackle the lines and get ready to swing your petticoats, because you’re in for a good time.
