This is the second outpost from the ever-so-popular Petersham Nurseries who have become somewhat of an institution in Richmond, thanks to their love of plants, seasonal food & drinks and an overall greenhouse vibe. They’ve bought the same pleasing aesthetic and good taste to Covent Garden - this time with an expansive space that fills a Grade II listed building and includes a florist, delicatessen, shop, two restaurants and a bar. A gorgeous spot and a welcome respite from the busy streets outside, tucked away inside the restaurant. The bar itself is very in-keeping with the theme, made entirely from a variety of real leaves, individually hand cast in bronze and the stage for their cocktails, which are inspired by nature and the evolving seasons. You can expect a lot of botanicals, herbs and edible flowers in the drinks here and as the restaurant around you has a slight Italian focus, they have some fine wines and Aperitivo-style snacks on offer too.
