The global bar community is an incredibly tight knit group and these last few years of reduced travel has left many of us feeling pretty bereft! Many cities all over the world now have their own Cocktail Weeks, (or Months!) and the people behind the scenes often check in with each other to see what their peers are up to.
Our friends over in Singapore have faced many of the same difficulties over the last few years as we have - also not running their Festival Village and also extending to a month long activation - and so we felt that while we couldn’t yet actually visit each other’s festival - we could bring an essence of both cities to each.
Twinning London with Singapore - to celebrate both cities rich cocktail culture, this partnership will promote the excellence of craftsmanship showcased within six bars in each city. Guests in each city will be encouraged to explore them all and enjoy a taste of another culture - all without leaving their hometown.
“In a time where cocktail bars and events have been deeply impacted by the pandemic, we felt that it is more important than ever to stand together to support each other. Our partnership has given us the opportunity to connect industry talents and share cocktail cultures across borders. This collaboration is a springboard to elevate our festivals’ experiences in the future. We invite you to experience a Taste of Singapore during LCW and we hope to welcome you in our bars soon.”
Wai Mayleng, Co-Founder, Singapore Cocktail Festival

Ah Sam Cold Drinks
Unpretentious, probably the best word to describe Ah Sam Cold Drinks Stall aside from ‘Fun’ or ‘Solid’(colloquial for ‘amazing’). The bar specialises in Asia-inspired signature cocktails, serving them up with Singapore’s hawker style dishes. Located on the vibrant street of Haji Lane, Ah Sam Cold Drinks Stall is easily the coolest watering hole in the neighbourhood.
Bar Stories is a charming hole-in-the-wall, nestled in a vibrant and heritage-rich enclave of Kampong Glam. The intimate bar never had, and perhaps will never have a formal cocktail menu. Bar Stories serves bespoke cocktail experiences, customised around the mood, taste and palette of their customers.
Junior The Pocket Bar
Every six months, the bar switches things up with a different cocktail concept to showcase terrains and traditions in the world of cocktails and spirits. The current concept Khipu, transports you to Peru through intimate and authentic experiences curated by the team. Junior The Pocket Bar is ranked #82 on Asia’s Best Bars in 2021.
Manhattan is reminiscent of a grand hotel bar, modern yet with a touch of old New York glamour and sophistication. Enjoy tipples from artisanal spirits, and classic and forgotten cocktails, meticulously crafted from the world’s first in-hotel rickhouse and a remarkable collection of house-made ingredients. Manhattan was recently placed 14th in World’s 50 Best Bars and 6th in Asia’s 50 Best Bars.
No Sleep Club
No Sleep Club is a day-to-night concept venue that is free of constraints and brimming with creativity. Experience their stellar service, deceptively “simple” drinks, and the tastiest grub. Expect the unexpected and go in with an open mind. The bar won Campari’s One to Watch award in 2020 and 8th on Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2021.
The Elephant Room
The Elephant Room is inspired by the culture, trade, people and history of Singapore's Little India. The bar creatively uses traditional ingredients in their cocktails and bar snacks. Every sip and every bite will tell you a story of their culture in the most surprising ways possible.
