What to expect...

Horse with No Name is a NEW straight bourbon whiskey turned renegade by the allure of a delicious habanero spirit infusion to add a touch of the wild west to reawaken classic cocktails. To celebrate its recent launch, Horse with No Name has partnered with PRICK, London’s first cacti and succulent boutique to create a unique event for cactus and cocktail lovers.

You will join PRICK founder and self-proclaimed cactus addict Gynelle Leon, and the Horse with No Name saloon team for a one-of-a-kind workshop to practice the art of cactus grafting, discover their favourite bourbon cocktails, and learn how to make them.

Welcome cocktails expertly made by the Horse with No Name saloon team will be provided on arrival before Gynelle shares her love of cactus grafting, a form of tissue engineering that has been practised for thousands of years. Like other plants, cacti can be grafted for a variety of reasons, to produce different species, to cultivate disease free stems, or to create a plant with an instagram-ready aesthetic.

Guided by Gynelle and her team, you will discover how to combine creativity and plant propagation to create your own unique cactus to take home. To close, the Horse with No Name saloon team will host a cocktail masterclass at the bar, guests will discover classic bourbon cocktails to and learn how to master the Mint Julep.

The workshop includes two cocktails, a cocktail tasting flight and potted PRICK cactus to take home. Workshops are limited to 12 people and will take place between 6pm-7:30pm and 8pm–9:30pm each evening from 6th-10th October. All sessions will take place at Shallow Roots, Prick’s new creative studio in Bethnal Green.
