Tucked away behind a graffiti covered shutter at the slightly less glamorous Aldgate East end of Brick Lane, is this easy-going cocktail spot. Strictly over 21’s all week with colourful pop-art covering the walls, neon signs on exposed bricks and cheeky bartenders always serving drinks with a smile. There’s live music or someone spinning the decks most nights and the drinks are colourful, almost tiki-esque, with inventive names like ‘No Whey Jose’. There’s the added bonus of the heated courtyard garden and the wood fired pizza menu means you can settle in for the whole evening, if you fancy.
