WHY WE LOVE THIS BAR...

The clue is in the name with The Coral Room as the bar is painted to perfectly match it. Add in some gorgeous lighting, palms and the parrot lamps, plus the plentiful upholstered seating options and a touch of art deco finery – and you can see why this place is busy. There’s a sizeable cocktail list too and a menu dedicated to English sparkling wine, which we definitely approve of.

Down below in the Bloomsbury Club the cocktail list is made up of drinks named after the decadent, debaucherous Bloomsbury Set – Virginia Woolf being probably the most famous name on there. There’s often live music with either a blues or jazz feel so there’s something quite nostalgic about this opulent, art deco-inspired bar. Amongst the cocktails is also a decent Fine & Rare selection, so if you’re in the mood for something special – there’s some tasty treats on offer. Not to be outdone by Dalloway Terrace (another bar in the same hotel) The Bloomsbury Club also has an outdoor terrace, which is perfection on a summer’s evening. This is definitely one of those bars to keep up your sleeve on a night out and preferably not tell quite everyone about please.
